Yeoman Marine Services Pvt. Ltd. (YMSPL) is an Indian shipbuilding, ship repair and marine engineering company established over 25 years ago, working across commercial and defence maritime sectors. It undertakes turnkey new-build outfitting and ship/submarine refits for the Indian Navy, Coast Guard, ONGC, SCI and major yards such as MDL, GSL, CSL, HSL, GRSE and L&T, and also fabricates marine infrastructure including pontoons, barges and caisson gates. The company additionally supplies and services marine equipment on behalf of overseas brands and develops defence electronics such as its Remote Embedded Systems Support (RESS) product and IPMS work. It operates from Mumbai and Navi Mumbai with a presence at 13 Indian locations, including Karwar, Visakhapatnam, Kochi and Port Blair, and owns Yeoman Shipyard at Ratnagiri, Maharashtra.

Yeoman Marine Services Pvt Ltd (YMSPL) is an ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certified Indian company founded over 25 years ago, specialising in shipbuilding, ship repairs, marine infrastructure, conversions and defence systems. Around half its revenue comes from shipbuilding, with teams working in naval yards and all major shipyards in the country. Customers include the Indian Navy, Coast Guard, ONGC, SCI, MDL, GSL, CSL, HSL, GRSE and L&T.

Services

  • Turnkey shipbuilding contracts: outfitting, shafting, cabling, piping, machinery installation through commissioning, STW and T&T
  • Turnkey ship refits across engineering, propulsion, hydraulics, hull/structures, controls, electricals and sensors; more than 37 ships refitted, including a 21,000 t fleet tanker, AOPVs/OPVs and FPVs
  • Submarine refit and repair — hydraulic equipment, rudders, hull valves, torpedo tubes, masts, diving and steering systems, shaft components; pipe, cable and air bottle removal/re-installation
  • Marine infrastructure: pontoons, barges, caisson gates and work on oil and gas rigs/platforms (over 1,500 marine structure installations)
  • Controls, IPMS and systems integration; electrical switchboard and PCB repair/refurbishment; deck machinery installation, load testing and repair
  • Fabrication in titanium, MS, SS and CuNi
  • Equipment sales, installation, trials, after-sales support, rate contracts, AMC and major overhauls, representing brands including Lamor, Lignum Vitae, Fapmo and Navinth
  • Defence products including Remote Embedded Support Systems (RESS) for satellite-based diagnostics and maintenance at sea
