Brilliant Seagull Private Limited (BSPL) is an Indian marine repair and maintenance contractor founded in 2008 by Marine Chief Engineers and former Classification Society Surveyors. The company services patrol vessels, security craft, Immediate Support Vessels, Fast Interceptor Craft and hovercraft for the Indian Navy, Indian Coast Guard and coastal Marine Police forces, and also carries out new-build support work at defence shipyards, salvage and waste-management coordination, technical management of dry docks, ports and ships, and OEM representation for foreign equipment makers. It operates dry docking facilities in Mumbai Harbour through sister concern Shiplift Techno Solutions and has offices in Navi Mumbai and Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

Brilliant Seagull Private Limited

Established in 2008, Brilliant Seagull Private Limited (BSPL) began in marine consultancy and grew into one of India's marine repair and maintenance contractors serving the maritime, defence and security sectors. The company was started by Marine Chief Engineers and Classification Society Surveyors, and its board combines marine engineers, ex-class surveyors, entrepreneurs and veterans.

Services

  • Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contracts (CAMC) for patrol vessels, security vessels and Immediate Support Vessels
  • Maintenance of 75 Marine Police boats across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Daman and Diu
  • Indian Coast Guard repair work: outer/inner loop renewal on ACVs, transom plate renewal, OBM overhauls, routine and breakdown maintenance, fabrication on hovercraft and boats
  • Repair of electrical, hydraulic equipment, turbochargers and waterjets; supply of spares, batteries and lubricants
  • New-build services at defence shipyards: chemical cleaning and pickling of pipes, structural and HVAC trunking insulation, elastomeric nitrile rubber and polymeric cladding, hull and equipment cleaning on Indian Navy ships and submarines
  • Marine salvage and waste management as consultant and shore operations coordinator (including the SSL Kolkata wreck removal with SMIT Salvage)
  • Technical management of floating dry docks, ports and ships
  • Design and fabrication of trailers, including military boat trailers and disaster relief mobile kitchen trailers
  • Vessel acquisition, refurbishment and transport logistics; supply of rigid boats
  • OEM representation for Kongsberg Maritime (Norway), Hyundai Daedong (South Korea), Webasto (Germany), Marco Horns (Italy) and E.P. Barrus (UK)
