SYRAF
SYRAF (Fanavaran Syraf Maritime Industry Technical-Engineering Company) is an Iranian designer and manufacturer of light aluminium and steel vessels up to 24 metres LOA, together with the marine equipment fitted aboard them. Founded in 1998 under the name Darya-Setizan, it operates its own shipbuilding yard and equipment workshops, and also produces marine switchboards, navigation and marine lanterns, lighting, electrical distribution systems, marine cable and safety equipment. The company describes itself as a knowledge-based firm with a strong research and development focus, and states it signed its first export vessel contracts in 2018. Its facility is located in the Parand Industrial Estate on the Tehran–Saveh highway, Iran.
