Israel Shipyards Ltd (ISL) has designed, built and repaired naval and commercial vessels from its Haifa Bay facility since 1959, and is described as one of the largest publicly held shipbuilding facilities in the Eastern Mediterranean. Its product range covers SHALDAG fast patrol craft, SA'AR missile corvettes, OPVs of 45–62m, landing craft, tugs, barges and merchant ships, alongside ship repair, conversion and long-term maintenance programs. The yard also fabricates heavy steel structures such as container cranes, port loading facilities and desalination plants, and runs a shore-based logistics and fabrication operation serving the offshore oil and gas industry. ISL supplies military and commercial customers on four continents and offers technology transfer, crew training and after-sales support.

Israel Shipyards Ltd

Established in 1959 in Haifa Bay as a government-owned yard and privatized in 1995, Israel Shipyards Ltd (ISL) serves naval and commercial marine markets and is described as one of the largest publicly held shipbuilding facilities in the Eastern Mediterranean. The company designed and built the SAAR 4 fast attack missile boat for the Israeli Navy in the late 1960s and has since developed the SHALDAG patrol craft family, SA'AR corvettes and OPV designs. ISL is supported by its holding company, Israel Shipyards Industries Ltd., and sister operations including Israel's first private port (founded 2007) and CIMENT Ltd.
