Rauma Marine Constructions has completed the hull of the third multi-purpose corvette for Finland’s Squadron 2020 programme. The vessel will now move into outfitting, with launch scheduled later this year. All four corvettes are now under construction at the Rauma shipyard.
Rauma Marine Constructions laid the keel for the fourth Pohjanmaa-class multi-purpose corvette for the Finnish Navy on 4 August. The vessel is the third in assembly, after steel production began in January 2026 and the first two ships were launched in 2025 and 2026.
Rauma Marine Constructions launched the second Pohjanmaa-class multi-purpose corvette for the Finnish Navy on 21 May. The vessel reached launch stage less than a year after keel laying, and all four Squadron 2020 vessels are now under construction.

Orskov Yard in Frederikshavn has replaced the crane arm on a large offshore vessel during a recent drydocking. The new crane section was dispatched from Poland, moved by road across Europe and then shipped across the Baltic Sea and Kattegat to the yard. The source does not name the vessel or its owner.

Rauma Marine Constructions will show its new winter-capable multipurpose corvette at DALO Industry Days on 20-21 August 2025 in Ballerup near Copenhagen. The design is based on the Finnish Navy’s new Pohjanmaa-class, whose first vessel was launched in May 2025.
