Norderwerft Repair GmbH

Norderwerft is a ship repair yard in the Port of Hamburg and part of the NVL group of shipyards. It handles repairs, conversions, modernisations, upgrades and maintenance for naval vessels and commercial ships up to 200 metres in length, as well as tugs, dredgers, research vessels and historical boats. The yard operates three floating docks, 450 metres of waterfront and in-house workshops on a roughly 60,000 square metre site on the Elbe, and also sends mobile flying-squad teams to vessels worldwide. It works closely with sister NVL yards Blohm+Voss, Peene-Werft and Neue Jadewerft.

Norderwerft has been part of the Port of Hamburg for more than 100 years and today serves as a key repair shipyard within the NVL group. The fully integrated yard is known for promptness, flexibility and high manufacturing depth, taking on both long-term projects and unplanned repair work at short notice. Customers include the German Navy, public authorities and commercial shipping companies around the globe, and the yard cooperates closely with sister shipyards Blohm+Voss, Peene-Werft and Neue Jadewerft.
