Lloyd Werft Bremerhaven GmbH is a German shipyard founded in 1857 as the workshop of the Norddeutscher Lloyd shipping line, and today part of the Heinrich Rönner Gruppe. It specialises in the conversion, repair and new construction of passenger ships, prototypes, special-purpose vessels and large yachts, and also carries out refits and modernisations. The yard occupies more than 260,000 m² in the Überseehäfen of Bremerhaven on Germany's North Sea coast, with dry and floating docks able to handle vessels over 300 m long and up to 11 m draft. It is certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001, and has founded a subsidiary, Lloyd Energy, focused on the energy transition.

Lloyd Werft Bremerhaven GmbH

Lloyd Werft Bremerhaven has built and converted ships since 1857, when it opened as the workshop for the Norddeutscher Lloyd fleet, and describes itself as the only surviving successor to that company. The yard moved to its present site in Bremerhaven's Überseehafen in 1871, and in 1899 opened what was then the world's largest dry dock. It is today part of the Heinrich Rönner Gruppe and has established a subsidiary, Lloyd Energy, aimed at the energy transition.
