BREDO Dockgesellschaft mbH was one of three formerly independent Bremerhaven and Cuxhaven shipyards — alongside German Dry Docks AG and Mützelfeldtwerft GmbH & Co. KG — that were merged between 2018 and 2020 under the BREDO DRY DOCKS GmbH brand. The combined company is a ship maintenance, repair and conversion yard employing more than 300 people, handling everything from routine ship repair to complex conversions for national and international customers, including refit work for the German Navy. It operates floating docks and dry docks at the Fischereihafen and Kaiserhafen in Bremerhaven and the Amerikahafen in Cuxhaven, with a 24-hour emergency hotline.

BREDO Dockgesellschaft mbH, based in Bremerhaven, is one of the three predecessor yards — together with German Dry Docks AG (Bremerhaven) and Mützelfeldtwerft GmbH & Co. KG (Cuxhaven) — that were successively merged in 2018/2019/2020 into today's BREDO DRY DOCKS GmbH. The group describes itself as one of Europe's leading repair and conversion yards, with central management coordinating three production sites and a workforce of more than 300.   • Cuxhaven Amerikahafen: Floating Dock D7 (7,000 t, 125 m) and Floating Dock D8 (1,000 t, 75 m) with 66.50 m x 17.50 m roofing; 170 m jack-up berth
