Peters Werft GmbH is a German shipyard in Wewelsfleth on the river Stör, a branch of the Elbe between Hamburg and the North Sea, founded in 1871. It builds, converts, refits and repairs container ships, ferries, passenger and multi-purpose vessels, tugs, dredgers, government and military ships, and megayachts through its Kusch Yachts partnership. The yard states more than 690 newbuildings over its history and can build vessels up to 138 m long and 22 m wide, using two covered dry docks, two slipways and its own workshops. Notable projects listed include the research vessel RV Falkor and the restoration of the four-masted barque Peking as a museum ship.

Peters Werft GmbH

Founded in 1871 by Jürgen Peters, Peters Werft GmbH is a family-led shipyard in Wewelsfleth, Schleswig-Holstein. Over more than 150 years the yard has delivered over 690 newbuildings and carried out extensive conversion, refit and repair work on commercial, government, military, historic and yacht tonnage. Megayacht work is undertaken with partner Kusch Yachts, established at the yard in 2000. The company is led by Managing Partner Sebastian Dethlefs and Managing Director Mark Dethlefs.
