Constantza Shipyard
Santierul Naval Constanta S.A. (Constanta Shipyard) is a Romanian shipyard on the Black Sea handling newbuilding, ship repair and conversion work for vessels up to 200,000 dwt. Tracing its origins to an 1892 craft repair shop in Constanta Harbour and privatised in 2002, the yard states it has delivered close to five million dwt of newbuildings and repaired more than 5,000 vessels, averaging 80–100 repair projects a year. Its facilities include two 350 m dry docks, two floating docks, 2,800 m of repair berth, steel processing capacity of 80,000 tonnes a year, and blasting, painting, piping and machining workshops. Recent work includes retrofits such as ballast water treatment systems, scrubbers and fuel-efficiency devices, and the yard is the principal contractor for dry docking and major repairs for the Romanian Navy.

Santierul Naval Constanta S.A. (Constanta Shipyard, SNC) is a Romanian shipbuilding, ship repair and conversion yard located in the port of Constanta on the Black Sea. Its history is traced to an 1892 craft repair shop in Constanta Harbour; newbuilding began in 1950 and the company was privatised in October 2002. The yard describes itself as being among the largest newbuilding, ship repair and conversion yards in Europe, with almost five million dwt delivered and more than 5,000 vessels repaired. It operates an integrated management system certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 by DNV for the scope "Building, repair and conversion of ships", and has held an OMCAS certificate under NATO standard AQAP 2110:2016. SNC is the principal contractor to the Romanian Navy for dry docking and major repairs.
Services
- Newbuilding of sea-going vessels up to 200,000 dwt
- Standard dry-dock work: hull, tank and cargo hold cleaning and painting, blasting and hydroblasting up to 2,200 bar, sea chests, cathodic protection, anchors and chains, rudder, tailshaft and stern tube
- Steel renewal (5–15 t/day), pipe works, mechanical and electrical works
- Overhaul of main and auxiliary engines and turbochargers; rotor balancing
- Conversions and special projects, including single hull to double hull tankers, oil tanker to bulk carrier, and damage repairs after collisions or groundings
- Energy efficiency retrofits: BWTS and exhaust gas scrubber installation, Mewis duct, Schneekluth WED, propeller boss cap fins, bulbous bow replacement, additional exhaust gas boilers

- Blasting and painting workshop, piping and hot galvanising facilities, SCHENCK HM 4/20 U balancing machine, approx. 10,000 sqm storage area
- Surface treatment rate 4,000 m²/day; staging volume up to 150,000 m³
