Ceksan Shipyard

Çeksan Shipyard is a Turkish shipbuilding, repair and conversion yard founded in 1960 and based in the Tuzla Shipyards Area of Istanbul. It builds new vessels up to 25,000 DWT — including IMO II chemical tankers, live fish carriers, double-ended ferries, tugs, barges and pontoons — and carries out docking, repair and conversion work on vessels up to 15,000 DWT, handling more than 50 vessels a year. The yard reports over 85 delivered newbuilding projects, an annual steel processing capacity of 7,500 tons, and work performed under IACS member classification societies such as DNV, Bureau Veritas and Türk Loydu. It holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification and is currently developing the NEOCLEAN TANKERS series of hybrid battery-powered chemical tankers.

Çeksan Shipyard

Founded in 1960 by Habip Bayrak in Istanbul's Golden Horn, Çeksan Shipyard moved to Tuzla Bay in 1986 and is now run by the third generation of the Bayrak family. The yard specialises in shipbuilding, maintenance, repair and conversion, reporting over 85 delivered vessel projects and work carried out under IACS member classification societies including DNV, Bureau Veritas and Türk Loydu. It operates an Integrated Management System certified to ISO 9001 (since 2003), ISO 14001 (since 2010) and ISO 45001, and received the Golden Anchor Award for "Best Shipyard of the Year" in 2007.
