South China Marine Ltd (SCS) is a Hong Kong-based vessel developer and shipbuilder offering a one-stop service of design, construction and sale of specialised workboats. The company builds ASD and nozzle-propeller tugs, utility AHTs/AHTS, 60m MPP AHTSF vessels with DP2, barges, crew boats, ferries and other offshore support craft, typically to BV or CCS class. Delivered vessels operate in Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Middle East, Europe, Australia and the Americas.

South China Marine Ltd

South China Marine Limited (SCS) is a Hong Kong-headquartered vessel developer whose predecessor was the South China Shipbuilding Group. The company states over 50 years of shipbuilding experience, with a Ship Design and Research Institute set up in Guangzhou in the 1980s and a long record of supplying tugs, barges and reclamation craft to Hong Kong owners — including vessels used on the Airport Core Project and the Rose Garden Project. In 2005 SCS acquired a Chinese state-owned shipyard founded in 1957 and renamed it South China Shipyard, forming an integrated design, build and sales group. Hong Kong-based South China Marine Ltd handles management and sales of all SCS vessels.
