- Water taxis — short-distance coastal and harbour transport, up to 20 people, 500 HP engine

- Sea ambulances — 300 HP, speeds to 20 knots, medical-ready cabin, high-visibility markings and emergency lights
- Rescue boats — fiberglass model at 4.5–5.0 m LOA, 1.6 m breadth, 0.3 m draft, 0.8 m depth, 10–13 passengers, 30–40 HP recommended; inflatable models with multi-chamber tubes and rigid floor, available in several sizes
