Elfa Shipyard Corporation is a Philippine ship repair, drydocking and shipbuilding yard established in 1992 to serve the domestic shipping industry. Located on the Navotas river in Manila's marine and fishing district, the yard handles ship repair, structural rehabilitation, re-engining and propulsion work, as well as conversions, lengthening and jumboization of tankers and cargo vessels. It also undertakes new construction, including tugboats and a slack wax (paraffin) carrier described as the first of its kind in the Philippines. Facilities include two slipways with lifting capacities of 3,000 DWT and 2,000 DWT, repair berths, a fabrication area and a machine shop.
