Ente Bacini
Ente Bacini S.r.l. operates the dry docks in the ship repair area of the port of Genoa, Italy, a role it has held since 1892. The company manages five masonry dry docks (one of which can be split into two independent sections), all fitted with floating gates, and provides docking manoeuvres, pumping, cranage and utility supplies to ships and to the repair yards working on them. It does not carry out repairs itself but provides the docks, quays, moorings and services that repair contractors and shipowners use, including a wastewater purification plant the company describes as the only one of its kind in Italy. Ente Bacini is majority owned by the Port System Authority of the Western Ligurian Sea, with minority stakes held by Riparatori Navali Genovesi S.r.l. and Genova Industrie Navali S.p.A.

Ente Bacini S.r.l. manages the dry docks in the ship repair area of the port of Genoa, one of the largest ports in Italy and the Mediterranean. Dock operations at the site date back to 1892, when Dock No. 2 entered service under the Società Esercizio Bacini, followed by Dock No. 1 in 1893; the Ente Bacini company itself was formed on 19 February 1925 to separate dock operation from mechanical workshops, and celebrated its centenary in 2025. Today it is a public-private company owned 96.739% by the Autorità di Sistema Portuale del Mar Ligure Occidentale, with Riparatori Navali Genovesi S.r.l. (2.174%) and Genova Industrie Navali S.p.A. (1.087%).

Facilities
