Effebi SPA
Effebi SPA is an Italian shipyard founded in 1983 by the Balducci family, specialising in GRP and advanced composite construction of vessels from roughly 8 to 50 metres. It operates in the military and mercantile sectors under the Effebi brand and in pleasure boating under the Mangusta, Mangusta Oceano and Mangusta Gransport marques, with deliveries including patrol boats, interceptors and hybrid-propulsion launches for the Guardia di Finanza and the Maritime Police of the Principality of Monaco. The company also offers refitting services and carries out all work in-house, from design and wooden model making to lamination, assembly and finishing. Production is spread across sites in Tuscany at Massarosa, Massa and Carrara-Avenza, totalling about 72,500 sqm of covered and open areas, with the registered office in Viareggio.

It builds vessels from about 8 to 50 metres in fibreglass and advanced composite materials, serving military and mercantile customers under the Effebi brand and the leisure market under the Mangusta, Mangusta Oceano and Mangusta Gransport brands. The yard describes itself as a leader in Italy and Europe for supply to states and public bodies, and holds Abstract 231, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certifications.
Services

- Lamination plants at Carrara-Avenza (16,500 sqm), Massa (14,000 sqm) and Massarosa (42,000 sqm)
- Raw material and laminate testing laboratory; nitrogen production plant for stainless steel resin tanks
- CNC fibre cutting and storage department; centralised vacuum chamber; boiler rooms and dehumidification for climate control
- Carpentry department for wooden models and moulds; dedicated paint shop; internal technical and design offices

- Coastal Patrol Vessels, including a 44 m unit ("Tenente Petrucci") for the Guardia di Finanza with waterjet propulsion and up to 45 knots
