Blohm+Voss is a Hamburg shipyard within the NVL group, specialising in the new build, outfitting, commissioning and acceptance testing of naval vessels, alongside docking and repair work. Founded in 1877 in the Steinwerder borough of the Port of Hamburg, the yard covers 451,000 square metres with seven docks and 2,100 metres of waterfront, including Dock Elbe 17, described as one of the largest graving docks in Northern Europe. Its history includes cruisers, battleships, the sail training ship GORCH FOCK and the MEKO series of frigates, and it currently leads NVL projects such as the joining and outfitting of K130 corvettes. It works closely with sister yards Peene-Werft, Norderwerft and Neue Jadewerft, and also handles class dockings for commercial vessels.

Blohm+Voss is a naval shipyard in the Port of Hamburg and part of the NVL group. Established in 1877 in the Steinwerder borough, the yard has completed hundreds of new builds and today positions itself as a provider of customised new build solutions for complex naval vessels, with a strong focus on outfitting, commissioning and acceptance tests carried out together with customers. Within the NVL network it takes a leading role on many projects, cooperating with sister shipyards Peene-Werft, Norderwerft and Neue Jadewerft and an extensive supplier network.
