Barka Shipyard
Barka Shipyard is a yacht refit and repair yard established in 2005 as part of the Begüm Group of Companies, originally on the Bodrum peninsula and now operating from the Altınova district of Yalova, Türkiye. It handles refits, winter maintenance and technical repairs on steel, aluminium, GRP/fibreglass and wooden yachts, covering hull and superstructure work, painting, teak and joinery, mechanical and hydraulic systems, electrics and electronics, plus engineering and project management. Its reference list includes superyachts from around 14 to 136 metres, and the company states it has also carried out refit work in Malta, Spain, Egypt and Sri Lanka.
