Acta Marine has christened the construction service operation vessel Acta Hercules in IJmuiden. The vessel, delivered earlier this year, is under a long-term charter to Vestas and was ordered in June 2022 from Tersan Shipyard, according to TrustedDocks orderbook data.
Tersan Shipyard has held the keel laying ceremony for the cable laying vessel InterOcean, Hull No. NB1139, for LS Marine Solution. The ceremony marked the vessel’s formal move into construction. CSSC Beihai Shipbuilding and China Shipbuilding Trading Co. signed a cooperation agreement with Shandong Shipping Corporation on 27 August for a 2+4 project of 325,000 DWT ethanol/methanol tri-fuel ore carriers. The vessels are designed to run on ethanol, methanol and heavy fuel oil, according to the announcement.
