Baku Shipyard has started construction on the first of three 42-metre DP2 crew boats designed by Incat Crowther for an offshore energy services operator in Azerbaijan. CSSC Beihai Shipbuilding and China Shipbuilding Trading Co. signed a cooperation agreement with Shandong Shipping Corporation on 27 August for a 2+4 project of 325,000 DWT ethanol/methanol tri-fuel ore carriers. The vessels are designed to run on ethanol, methanol and heavy fuel oil, according to the announcement.
