H.E. Didier Vanderhasselt, Belgium’s ambassador to Sri Lanka, visited Ocean Voyager and Seatek in Southern Sri Lanka in June, during his final official trip to the country. The tour covered the companies’ facilities in the Koggala BOI Zone and at Kathaluwa-Ahangama, with Belgian officials and Sea Leisure Yachting Group’s group CEO also attending.
Ocean Voyager will attend the Africa Boating Conference on October 21-22, 2025, in Cape Town, South Africa. The company said it will use the event to meet operators, discuss superyacht logistics and explore partnerships in Africa’s coastal tourism market.
Ocean Voyager has delivered the 64ft catamaran Sodade II to TUI in Boa Vista, Cape Verde. The vessel is being used for all-inclusive cruises, adults-only sailings and cruise-and-4x4 trips across the island. Ocean Voyager said the catamaran was built for warm, tropical waters and guest operations.
The Building A Future Foundation Training Institute marked its 20th anniversary on 1 November 2024 with a graduation ceremony at the Kabalana Hotel. The class of 2024 comprised 68 graduates, and Pierre Pringiers handed over their diplomas.
