Werft Malz GmbH is an inland shipyard in Oranienburg, Brandenburg, on a site where inland vessels have been built and repaired for around 110 years. The yard hauls out and repairs motor cargo vessels, passenger ships, pusher boats, technical fleet units and government craft (notably police boats), and carries out newbuild and refit work on hulls, interiors and ship systems. Its 26,000 sqm site includes a slipway for vessels up to 67 m, a lift/lowering installation for vessels up to 30 m, a heated shipbuilding hall and a 3 m CNC vertical turning lathe, plus an in-house joinery. The company is certified to DIN EN 1090-1 and 1090-2 and holds GL welding approval, and employs around 29 people.

Werft Malz GmbH operates an inland shipyard at An der Schleuse 7 in Oranienburg, Brandenburg. Inland vessels have been built and repaired at the site for roughly 110 years, beginning with 4.85 m wide towed barges for Berlin; the yard was privatised and re-formed under its present name in February 2000. Today the 26,000 sqm facility employs some 29 staff and combines shipbuilding and repair with metalworking, machining and joinery. Additional partner firms for corrosion protection/painting, electrics and nautical equipment are based on site.
