Tampa Ship LLC is a full-service shipyard in Tampa, Florida, handling conversions, overhauls and general repair of vessels up to about 900 feet, with new construction capability in two of its docks. The 62-acre yard operates four graving drydocks, a covered erection building and multiple repair and outfitting piers, and it describes itself as the only commercial shipyard between Pascagoula, Mississippi and Hampton Roads, Virginia with four large graving docks. Work covers design, steel and pipe fabrication, electrical, machinery, blasting and coating, with particular emphasis on vessel lengthening and repowering. The company is a member of the Chouest family of companies, affiliated with Edison Chouest Offshore.

  • Drydock draft capability of 28 ft. for ships to 746 ft. and 24 ft. for ships to 907 ft.
  • Covered erection building, 600 ft. x 145 ft. x 115 ft. high, capable of 880T lifts
  • Crane capacity to 650 tons, including jib and bridge cranes across the docks
  • Repair and outfitting berths: Piers A, B, C North, C South, D North, D South and F, ranging from 630 ft. to 907 ft. with depths of 16–28 ft.
