Saigon Shipmarin - Shipyard
Saigon Shipmarin (Sai Gon Shipbuilding and Marine Industry Company Limited) is a Vietnamese state-linked shipyard in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, established on 31 March 1977 and operating as a member of Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (SBIC). The yard builds, repairs and converts river and sea-going vessels and other floating craft, and also repairs drilling rigs, cranes, lifting equipment and steel structures. Reported projects include passenger and car ferries, the 5-star river cruise vessels Mekong Navigator and Mekong Jewel, a 2 x 1300HP marine research vessel, a 1,400m3 LPG/NH3 carrier, a 128 TEU container ship, dry cargo ships and tanker/chemical tanker dockings. Alongside shipbuilding it offers design and consultancy, port and buoy berth operation, towage, tank cleaning, ship breaking and marine agency and supply services.

CÔNG TY TNHH MỘT THÀNH VIÊN ĐÓNG TÀU VÀ CÔNG NGHIỆP HÀNG HẢI SÀI GÒN (Sai Gon Shipbuilding and Marine Industry Company Limited, abbreviated Saigon Shipmarin) was established on 31 March 1977 and is a member unit of Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (SBIC). Described as one of the larger shipbuilding companies in southern Vietnam, it handles newbuilding, repair and conversion of river and sea-going vessels, block fabrication and assembly, and port operation services. The company states certification to ISO 9001:2015 for quality management and ISO 9001:2015 for environmental management.
