Meyer Turku Oy is a Finnish shipyard in Turku that designs and builds large cruise ships, car ferries and special vessels, and is part of the German Meyer family group. The yard reports roughly a 17 percent share of the global cruise shipbuilding market, revenue of EUR 2.1 billion in 2025, over 2,300 employees and a confirmed order book to 2028. Current work includes Royal Caribbean's Icon class and two multipurpose patrol vessels for the Finnish Border Guard. Subsidiaries include cabin factory Piikkio Works Oy, public-space turnkey supplier Shipbuilding Completion Oy and design house ENG'nD Oy in Rauma.

Meyer Turku Shipyard

Meyer Turku Oy is one of the world's leading builders of large cruise ships and a central industrial actor in the Finnish maritime cluster. Ships have been built at the Turku yard since 1737; the modern Perno yard traces its corporate history through Crichton-Vulcan, Wärtsilä, Masa-Yards, Kvaerner, Aker Finnyards and STX before the German Meyer family and the Finnish State acquired it in 2014. The company reports revenue of EUR 2.1 billion in 2025, more than 2,300 employees, about 17 percent of the global cruise shipbuilding market, a confirmed order book to 2028 and building slots reserved to 2036.
