Founded by naval architect Mohamed Adam on the former Bethlehem Steel Staten Island site, the yard has built ferry landings, deck, construction and tank barges, and a double-hull bunkering mini tanker, and has serviced cutters, ferries, dredges and vessels for the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Its facilities include multiple dry docks, a 600 metric ton marine travel lift, plasma cutting and robotic welding equipment. The company also fabricates structural steel products such as pedestrian bridges, plate girders, columns and beams.
