Estaleiro Mauá S/A is a shipyard in Ponta d'Areia, Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, operating on the Guanabara Bay since 1845 and describing itself as the most experienced and traditional yard still working in Brazil. Its work spans newbuilding, ship and offshore repair, conversion and modernisation of offshore oil and gas units, fabrication of structures and subsea items, FPSO module construction and integration, and vessel dismantling. The 180,000 m² site also runs a port terminal and logistics support base with eight approved berths, plus environmental services such as waste management, tank cleaning and preventive containment booms. The yard holds NBR ISO 9001:2015 and NBR ISO 14001:2015 certificates issued by RINA Brasil, as well as NORSOK certification.
