The company has completed hundreds of repair, overhaul and alteration contracts for the Navy and Military Sealift Command, including Regular Overhauls, Selected Restricted Availabilities and Dry-dock SRAs, as well as emergent repairs. In-house trades cover electrical, machinery, metal and pipe fabrication, coatings and abrasive blasting, boiler repair, and rigging and crane services. Since 2021 CMSD has been part of Titan Acquisition Holdings, alongside Vigor in the Pacific Northwest and MHI Holdings in Norfolk, Virginia.
