Astilleros SENI (Servicios Navales e Industriales, S.A. de C.V.) is a Mexican-owned shipyard founded in 1980 and located on the Estero de Urías in Mazatlán, Sinaloa. The yard both builds and repairs vessels in steel, aluminium, wood and fibreglass, with in-house workshops for welding and plate work, carpentry and fibreglass, machining, mechanics, electrics, hydraulics and painting, plus blasting and protective coatings. Completed newbuilding projects include two 52 m all-aluminium passenger boats serving Pemex in the Gulf of Mexico, two 35 m class-certified steel buoy tenders for the Secretaría de Comunicaciones y Transportes, and aluminium dive boats exported to Venezuela; the company has also announced a contract with SEMAR to build tugs. It works on commercial vessels, mega yachts, shrimp boats and cruise-ship tenders.

Servicios Navales e Industriales, S.A. de C.V. (Astillero SENI) is a wholly Mexican-owned shipyard founded in February 1980 by marine professionals from several disciplines, operating on the Estero de Urías in Mazatlán, Sinaloa. The yard combines newbuilding and repair work across steel, aluminium, wood and fibreglass, and has stated it is developing a new closed, dry slipway able to haul vessels up to 1,200 tonnes and 65 m length overall. Company news pages describe a contract signed with the Secretaría de Marina for the construction of tugs, a project the company said would generate around 150 direct jobs in the port.

  • Workshops for mechanics, electronics and electrical, engineering, hydraulics, painting and welding
  • 2 self-propelled cranes (20 t and 5 t), 2 overhead travelling cranes of 5 t each, and a tug
  • Services on site: 110/220/440 V power, telephone, WiFi internet, sewage discharge connection, fresh water, fire-fighting system connection
  • Welders certified by ABS and GL
