AISTER

AISTER (Aislamientos Térmicos de Galicia SA) is a Spanish shipyard specialised in the design and construction of professional vessels built entirely in marine aluminium, with facilities in Moaña on the Ría de Vigo. Its catalogue and custom-built range covers patrol and surveillance craft, high-speed interceptors, search-and-rescue and firefighting boats, pilot boats, workboats and aquaculture catamarans, pollution-response vessels, diving boats, unmanned surface vessels and passenger catamarans, including hybrid and electric propulsion. Customers include public administrations and international operators, such as the Guardia Civil Servicio Marítimo, the Consell Insular d'Eivissa, French regional authorities and clients in Central America and Norway. The company states it has received five Baird Maritime Work Boat World awards since 2018 and takes part in R&D projects such as the EU-funded BIOSAFIRE programme.
