Công ty TNHH Một thành viên 189 (Công ty 189, also known as Nhà máy Z189) is a defence and security enterprise under the General Department of Defence Industry, Ministry of National Defence of Vietnam, based in the Đình Vũ industrial zone in Hải Phòng. With more than 35 years of history, it builds and repairs steel, aluminium alloy and composite vessels for both military and civilian customers, including patrol and coast guard ships, troop and landing craft, submarine rescue vessels, pilot boats, crew supply vessels, high-speed monohull and catamaran passenger ferries, yachts and specialised barges. The yard states capability to build vessels up to 10,000 DWT and repair ships up to 80,000 DWT, and also produces high-tech metal structures, super-heavy and oversized fabrications, and specialised vehicles such as the XCB-01 armoured personnel carrier. It has exported around 150 vessels to more than 40 countries and works with international partners including Damen (Netherlands), AKVA GROUP ASA (Norway) and Syncrolift AS.

Founded more than 35 years ago, it describes itself as a core facility of Vietnam's defence and shipbuilding industries, specialising in new construction and repair of steel, aluminium alloy and composite vessels for military, security and commercial customers, alongside mechanical fabrication and logistics activities. The company has cooperated with international groups for over 20 years, delivering around 150 vessels exported to more than 40 countries.

- Search and rescue and submarine rescue vessels, including Yết Kiêu 927, Besant and Stoker
- Pilot and port service boats, crew supply vessels (Damen FCS 2610, 3307, 5009, 2710)
- High-speed monohull and catamaran passenger ferries, yachts and overnight cruise boats
- Specialised barges for salmon farming, dredgers, multipurpose dry cargo vessels, the MV Sycamore training vessel and buoy-tending ships
