GTT has received an order from Jiangnan shipyard to design the tanks for four LNG carriers being built for ADNOC Logistics and Services. Each vessel will have a capacity of 175,000 m³ and use GTT’s Mark III Flex membrane containment system, with delivery scheduled for the first half of 2029.
Hanwha Shipping has taken delivery of its first VLCC tanker, Elandra K2, from Hanwha Ocean’s Okpo Shipyard in South Korea. The 320,000 DWT vessel is registered in the Marshall Islands and will go on charter to Vitol; AIS data showed it at Khor Fakkan anchorage in the UAE.
Grandweld Shipyards said it completed a three-month voyage repair job on a vessel that stayed fully operational throughout the work. A four-man riding squad fabricated, installed and commissioned an LSFO bunker pipeline system while the ship sailed across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and India.
