Rauma Marine Constructions said its 2025 turnover rose to EUR 252.97 million and profit increased to EUR 2.18 million, helped by the delivery of Spirit of Tasmania V to TT-Line at the end of June. The yard also said the US Coast Guard confirmed an order for two icebreakers before year-end, while work continued on the Pohjanmaa-class corvette programme.
Rauma Marine Constructions launched the second Pohjanmaa-class multi-purpose corvette for the Finnish Navy on 21 May. The vessel reached launch stage less than a year after keel laying, and all four Squadron 2020 vessels are now under construction.
Rauma Marine Constructions has started production of the third Pohjanmaa-class multi-purpose corvette for the Finnish Defence Forces, newbuild 6007. The yard said the first vessel was launched in May and is now in outfitting, while the second was started in October last year and has reached hull assembly with nine blocks.
