TALLERES BLANCHADELL S.L.

aluminium boatbuilder Vinaròs, Castelló, Spain

Talleres Blanchadell S.L. is a family-run shipyard and marine engineering workshop in Vinaròs, Spain, with roots as a blacksmith's forge dating back to at least 1860. The company builds aluminium workboats — notably aquaculture and port-service catamarans, trawlers and auxiliary launches — and also manufactures, installs and repairs naval machinery such as fishing winches, shaft lines, propellers, rudders, manoeuvring thrusters, tanks and hydraulic systems. It runs its own technical office for vessel design and has delivered boats to Spanish and Algerian customers, exhibiting at aquaculture and fishing fairs in Spain and Algeria.

Talleres Blanchadell S.L.

Talleres Blanchadell is a Vinaròs-based shipyard and naval mechanics workshop now in its sixth family generation, tracing its origins to a blacksmith's forge active by at least 1860 that made irrigation waterwheels, farm implements and fittings for the wooden sailing craft built in the town. From the 1920s it specialised in semi-diesel and later diesel marine engine repair, and at the start of the 2000s it moved into aluminium boatbuilding, which is now a core activity alongside the manufacture and installation of fishing and propulsion machinery. The company reports more than 160 years in the sector and exports nationally and internationally, supported by the ICEX Next programme with European FEDER co-financing.
