Medvolt Marine

Medvolt Marine is a Mallorcan boatbuilder and refit specialist focused on 100% electric and hybrid propulsion for recreational craft. It builds the M7, a fully electric llaut presented at the 2022 Palma Boat Show, and converts existing boats — particularly traditional Mediterranean llauts — to electric drive with lithium battery systems. The company also develops charging infrastructure, including its Nautic Charge Network and the floating, solar-powered modular Sundock platform created with the Mallorcan start-up Sundock. It operates a main yard in Palma de Mallorca plus retrofit and customer centres in Denia (Alicante) and the Port of Valencia.

Medvolt Marine is a recently founded Mallorcan company formed by professionals with long experience in the development and production of fibreglass and high-performance composite boats. The multidisciplinary team combines naval construction, engineering, tourism marketing and sustainability/conservation backgrounds, with the stated aim of making the nautical industry more sustainable and protecting the Mediterranean. The family shipyard describes itself as building and converting boats to fully electric or hybrid propulsion.

The M7 electric llaut: silent, zero-emission, with a classic-looking wide deck, latin sail rig and sun-pad seating; six units were sailing in the Balearics and along the Mediterranean coast with a seventh in build, and two work exclusively with five-star hotels
Retrofitted low-power motorboats, with systems typically giving over six hours of range and charging in up to six hours from a standard 16 A marina supply
