STAL Complex Sp. z o.o. is a steel and aluminium fabrication yard and shipbuilder based on the industrial quays of the Port of Gdynia, Poland, with direct sea access and more than 20 years of activity. It specialises in vessels for the fish farming industry, building feed barges from roughly 100T to 600T capacity in front- and side-feeder versions as well as steel and aluminium workboats and catamarans, and it also converts cargo ships into feed barges. Additional work includes ship repair and overhauling (including military vessels), lengthening and rebuilding of existing units, fishing, leisure, SAR and special-purpose craft, containers, and general steel and aluminium structures such as ship sections and blocks. Customers include operators in Norway, Scotland, Spain, Iceland, the Faroe Islands and Canada, alongside Polish contractors.

STAL Complex Sp. z o.o. is a Gdynia-based shipbuilding and steel fabrication company with direct access to the sea from the port's industrial quays. Over more than 20 years it has delivered steel and aluminium projects for foreign and Polish customers, becoming particularly established in floating units for the fish farming industry. The company reports 250+ finished projects, over 1,000 tonnes of steel processed per year and 10,000 m² of production area, and delivers vessels ready to work on handover.

Services

  • Construction of feed barges for fish farms, from around 100T to 600T feed capacity, in front- and side-feeder versions, delivered fully equipped with feed, electrical, automation and piping systems plus crew accommodation
  • Construction of workboats and work/multipurpose catamarans in steel, aluminium or combined hulls, built to the requirements of the nominated class authority (PRS, DNV, NB)
  • Conversion of cargo ships into fish-farm feed barges
  • Rebuilding, lengthening and interior/outfitting modification of existing vessels
  • Ship repair and overhauling, including hull and steel damage repair, cleaning and painting; cargo, passenger, military and leisure vessels

Facilities

  • Production hall with two 16T and one 5T bridge cranes, plate forming machines, technical gas and electrical infrastructure, offices and social rooms
  • Outside assembly site of more than 5,000 m² with 32T gantry crane, 35T mobile crane and the option to tent open areas
  • 2,000 m² of covered warehousing with warehouse management system and 24h monitoring
  • Quay outfitting area of 3,000 m², 300T floating crane at disposal, vessels up to 2,200T can be lifted ashore
