Song Thu Corporation is a Da Nang-based shipbuilding and ship repair enterprise under Vietnam's General Department of Defense Industry, Ministry of National Defense. Founded in 1976 as the Dong Tien Mechanical Group, it builds and repairs sea-going and river vessels — largely to Damen Shipyards Gorinchem designs — and has exported more than 40 vessels to markets in Europe, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East. Alongside shipbuilding it runs the Central Region Oil Spill Response Centre, provides tanker cleaning and oily waste treatment, port services and mechanical engineering work. Facilities across seven sites in Da Nang, Khanh Hoa and Quang Nam include a 3,000-tonne Syncrolift ship lift, CNC cutting shops and blasting and painting lines.

Song Thu Corporation is a shipbuilding and ship repair enterprise under the General Department of Defense Industry, Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam. Established on 10 October 1976 as the Dong Tien Mechanical Group under Military Region 5, it has grown into a builder of both defence and commercial vessels, with more than 40 export vessels delivered to European, Latin American, African and Middle Eastern markets. The corporation employs around 1,140 personnel including subsidiary X50 Factory, and works largely to designs from Damen Shipyards Gorinchem and other European naval architects, with classification by Lloyd's, Bureau Veritas, VR and the Vietnam Navy register.
