Shipyard Cove do Paraguaçu
Estaleiro Enseada is a large Brazilian shipyard and industrial-logistics complex on the banks of the Paraguaçu River at Maragogipe, Bahia, built with Kawasaki Heavy Industries technology and originally conceived for the construction and integration of offshore units such as platforms, drillships and specialised vessels. Its current work includes the construction of up to 80 iron-ore barges (60 m, 2,900 t capacity) for LHG Mining through the Consórcio Barcaças do Paraguaçu with Tenenge, both Novonor Group companies. The site also operates a Private Use Terminal (TUP) handling solid bulk and general cargo exports and imports, and offers repair and maintenance, vessel decommissioning and fabrication of large metal structures and wind towers. The company filed for court-supervised reorganisation in October 2019 and had its plan approved in September 2021, since resuming shipbuilding operations.

Enseada Indústria Naval operates one of Brazil's largest shipyards, positioned as a combined industrial and logistics complex on the Paraguaçu River in Bahia. Founded in partnership with Kawasaki Heavy Industries and representing around US$1 billion of investment, it was designed for the construction and integration of offshore units and today performs shipbuilding, industrial fabrication and port services. Shipbuilding activity resumed with a barge programme for LHG Mining, executed with Tenenge as the Consórcio Barcaças do Paraguaçu (both Novonor Group companies). The company entered court-supervised reorganisation in October 2019, with its plan approved by creditors in September 2021.
