Sefine Shipyard

Sefine Shipyard (Sefine Denizcilik Tersanecilik Turizm San. ve Tic. A.Ş.) is a Turkish shipyard at Yalova-Altınova on the Sea of Marmara, active since 2007 and part of Koloğlu Holding. It combines newbuilding, ship maintenance, repair and conversion, and large structural steel fabrication on one site, working from a roughly 300,000 m² yard with a 90,000 DWT post-Panamax dry dock and floating docks of 40,000 and 75,000 tons lifting capacity. Newbuilding output has focused on double-ended ferries, live fish carriers, tugs, SAR and emergency response vessels, with deliveries exported to Norway, Italy, the Netherlands, the UK, Estonia and the Faroe Islands. The company states it has completed more than 50 ships, exported to 43 countries and also carries out R&D on autonomous and swarm unmanned surface vessels.

Sefine Shipyard

Sefine Shipyard, owned by Sefine Denizcilik Tersanecilik Turizm San. ve Tic. A.Ş. and part of Koloğlu Holding, began operations in 2007 and is one of the few Turkish yards able to run newbuilding, ship repair/conversion and large steel structure projects at the same time. The company reports more than 50 completed ships, exports of products and services to 43 countries, and over 6,000 workers including subcontractor personnel. It claims a leading world position in live fish carrier construction and was named export champion in the shipbuilding category of the Turkish Exporters Assembly's Top 1000 Exporters 2020 study.
