Schiffswerft Diedrich GmbH is a family-tradition shipyard in Moormerland (Oldersum) on the Ems estuary in East Frisia, Germany, active in shipbuilding and repair for more than 80 years. With around 19 in-house staff it designs and builds new vessels — passenger ships, ferries, cargo ships, fishing vessels and special-purpose craft — and carries out conversions, repairs and maintenance, including steel, machinery, piping, joinery and electronics work. The yard states more than 80 newbuildings to date, including the freighter BALTRUM V for Baltrum-Linie and the methanol fuel-cell harbour boat ENGELKE delivered in 2024. Its transverse slipway takes vessels up to 70 m long, 14 m wide and 2.5 m draught, and teams also work off-site on customer vessels.

The company describes itself as modern but rooted in regional shipbuilding tradition, employing around 19 of its own staff plus apprentices, and led by managing director Matthias Brandt.
