Rivergate Shipyard
Rivergate Marina & Shipyard is a family-owned marina and refit shipyard on the Brisbane River at Murarrie, Queensland, established in 2006 as part of a $150 million greenfield development on a 15-hectare former industrial riverfront site. The facility specialises in superyacht refit, maintenance and project management, coordinating hundreds of contractors across more than 20 specialist marine trades, and also provides marina berthing, monitored in-water and hardstand storage, 24-hour fuelling and customs clearance as an official Australian port of entry. It carries out more than 500 haul-outs per year using 300-tonne and 75-tonne Travelifts and a 55-metre refit shed, and has completed work ranging from superyacht surveys and full exterior refinishes to government vessel builds and refits. Rivergate is active across the Pacific superyacht network, hosting captains' lunches in Auckland, Tahiti, Sydney and at the Monaco Yacht Show.
