Guyana Port Inc. (GPI) is a shipyard and marine services company based at Lot 12 Support, East Bank Demerara, Guyana. Established in 2019 and operating since 2021, it says it is the country's sole provider of a 2,000-metric-ton floating drydock and offers drydocking, abrasive blasting, spray painting, welding and fabrication, machining, propulsion and marine fitting, electrical repairs, ultrasonic testing and vessel retrofitting. The company also builds new vessels, including deck barges, fuel barges, tugboats and passenger vessels, and is expanding into dredging. GPI reports around 100 employees and more than 150 vessels serviced over five years.
