Rødne has ordered a purpose-built hybrid sightseeing boat from Oma Baatbyggeri for fjord cruises from Bergen. The 39-metre catamaran, to be named Rygerstraum, is due for delivery in the second quarter of 2027 and will carry 282 passengers.
Torghatten has ordered two electrically operated ferries from Oma Baatbyggeri for service in Finnmark. The aluminium catamarans will be more than 49 metres long, carry 95 passengers and 28 cars, and are due for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2025.
