Work Boat World named Oma Baatbyggeri AS’s newbuild no. 545 FOB SWATH 10 as Best SWATH Crewboat in its annual awards for 2021. The 30-metre aluminium catamaran Ro-Pax ferry serves coastal communities in western Norway and carries seven cars and 72 passengers.
Work Boat World has named Oma Baatbyggeri’s newbuild no. 545, FOB SWATH 10, its Best SWATH Crewboat for 2021. The Australian magazine made the award in its annual prizes, and the vessel was described as a 33-metre all-aluminium SWATH crewboat with four 1,200kW MAN diesels and waterjets.
Oma Baatbyggeri AS delivered newbuilding 545, FOB SWATH 10, to Offshore Windservice A/S on 9 November in Stord. The 32-metre wind turbine boat is the third Crew Transfer Vessel in the series handed over to the Danish operator, under a contract signed in May 2019.
