Estaleiro Mauá signed on to Niterói’s municipal Refis programme for the naval sector on 14 April, in a ceremony at the yard. The agreement was signed by CEO Miro Arantes and Mayor Rodrigo Neves, with municipal and state officials present.
More than 2,200 people took part in a commemorative run and walk for the 180th anniversary of Brazil’s naval industry on 8 February. The start was at Estaleiro Mauá in Niterói, and the event was organised by Circuito CPN.
Estaleiro Mauá took part in Tomorrow.Blue Economy Niterói 2025, held on 26 and 27 November at Caminho Niemeyer. The yard joined the Brazilian event as an institutional supporter and had Heitor Ciuffo, its institutional adviser, speak on the Ocean Stage.
Estaleiro Mauá in Niterói received a Chinese delegation this week, the first stop on a visit to Brazilian shipyards. The yard said the visit followed federal talks with China under BRICS and that some technical and institutional feasibility terms were signed on 5 July.
