La Ciotat Shipyards has installed its first photovoltaic panels on the roof of the Nef A annex, where 189 m² are already producing an average of 260 kWh a day. The yard has also launched a tender for a 2,000 m² rooftop solar array on Nef B, with work due to start in November 2026, and plans another 2,000 m² on Nef C.
La Ciotat Shipyards inaugurated the rehabilitated Nef B on 21 October with MB92 and the mayor present. The project cost €10.7 million in total, split between MB92 La Ciotat and La Ciotat Shipyards, with state support under the Fonds vert.
La Ciotat Shipyards began a new phase of work in mid-April on the longitudinal north-east cladding of Nefs B and C at the Grande Darse. The job covers 3,900 m² of steel sheet, with 1,400 m² on Nef B and 2,500 m² on Nef C, after the yard completed roof rehabilitation on Nef B.
