Transmétal Industrie
Transmétal Industrie is a shipbuilding and ship repair yard based at Saint-Mandrier-sur-Mer in southern France, working mainly on workboats and service vessels up to 35 metres. Aluminium hull construction is its core business, though it also has experience in composite construction, and it designs and builds floating infrastructure with gangways for passenger and reduced-mobility transfers. The repair side handles careening, antifouling, repowering, hybrid lithium-battery refits, structural repairs to steel, aluminium, composite and wooden hulls, and interior refits, with over 40 boats handled per season. The yard has also built hybrid Eco Bateaux Bus for the Réseau Mistral in Toulon and is working towards hydrogen fuel cell integration.
