Store Marine Service (SMS) is a boatyard and refit centre based at Port Napoléon in Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône, southern France, working on sailboats and motor yachts in polyester, aluminium, steel or wood. The company combines shipyard and mechanical services with a 300 m² USHIP chandlery, an in-house upholstery and sailmaking workshop, and bareboat charter of an Oceanis 40. It is an authorised agent for Mercury and Nanni engines and a dealer for NV Equipment, T TOP Nautic, FLEXIMA and SO SAILS. The team is mobile and also works across the other ports of Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône.

Store Marine Service (SMS) is a boatyard and refit centre located at Port Napoléon in Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône, Bouches-du-Rhône, about 45 minutes from Marseille and Arles. Operated by SARL SF INVESTISSEMENT and managed by Stéphane Faudemer, the business groups together a shipyard, a USHIP chandlery, an upholstery and sail loft, and a charter offer under one roof. Work is carried out by a multidisciplinary team of qualified professionals, with a mobile workshop vehicle allowing intervention at the other ports of Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône.

Services

  • Maintenance and refit of hulls in polyester, aluminium, steel or wood: sandblasting, soda blasting, welding, careening, lamination, osmosis treatment, painting, antifouling (including copper coat), polishing
  • Equipment fitting and repair: watermakers, heating, air conditioning, windlasses, thrusters, generators; plumbing, through-hulls, WCs and black-water tanks
  • Standing and running rigging replacement, inspection and tuning; deck hardware; Flexiteek decking; marine electronics and electrical work
  • Mechanics: inboard and outboard engine servicing, overhauls, winterising, shaft alignment, propeller refurbishment and repowering — authorised agent for Mercury and Nanni
  • New boat commissioning: reception, full fitting out, mast stepping and rig tuning, engine prep, electronics installation, sea trials and pre-delivery cleaning
  • Preparation for road transport: unstepping masts, de-rigging, keel removal, draining tanks and bilges, battery disconnection and interior stowage
  • Upholstery and canvas work: custom cushions and benches, biminis, sun awnings, sprayhoods, protective covers, canvas enclosures, repairs; FLEXIMA custom mattresses
  • Sails via SO SAILS: mainsails, genoas and jibs, spinnakers and gennakers, spinnaker socks, made-to-measure lazy bags, plus sail maintenance, repair, washing and winter storage
  • Chandlery services: lifejacket and liferaft servicing, collection of expired pyrotechnics and extinguishers, custom splicing
  • Bareboat charter of the Oceanis 40 "Extasy" (12.15 m, 3 cabins, 2 heads, offshore equipment for 6)
