Labuan Shipyard & Engineering Sdn Bhd (LSE) is a Malaysian shipyard on a 60-acre site within Victoria Harbour on Labuan Island, offering shipbuilding, ship repair, offshore oil and gas fabrication and civil engineering services. The yard repairs and maintains commercial, private and government naval vessels, and has built craft ranging from fishing trawlers and tugboats to chemical and clean product tankers, barges and offshore support vessels. Its facilities include a 7,000-tonne Syncrolift shiplift, loadout skidways and quays, covered fabrication bays and a 540-metre wharf, with capacity to work on up to six vessels at once. LSE holds PETRONAS and minor fabrication licences, CIDB registration and ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certification.

  • Skidways of 12,000-tonne and 3,000-tonne capacity; loadout quays of 12,000 MT and 3,000 MT
  • 540 m outer jetty, 140 m inner jetty, 180 m ship repair jetty, plus a licensed private jetty
  • Repair berths of 250 m and 180 m; capacity for six vessels at a time (two dry, four afloat)
  • Covered bays 1-8 with overhead cranes up to 50 MT; auto blast chamber
  • Mobile, crawler and ringer cranes up to 320 tonnes; CNC plasma cutting, 500-tonne press, plate rolling and frame bending
