CHANTIER ESCALE TECHNIQUE
Chantier Escale Technique is a boat yard at Saint-Philibert, near La Trinité-sur-Mer in the Morbihan (Brittany), offering marine mechanics, boat handling, storage and road transport for leisure craft. Its workshop services inboard and outboard engines of all makes, petrol or diesel, covering diagnostics, servicing, tuning, full engine refits and sandblasting of mechanical parts. The yard carries out more than 600 boat movements a year with hydraulic trailers up to 22 tonnes and heavy tractors, and transports boats across the Brest–Caen–La Rochelle triangle. It also handles end-of-life boat dismantling under the APER programme and is preparing an online shop for new and used parts and chandlery.
Chantier Escale Technique
Escale Technique is a boat yard based in the Z.A. de Kerran at Saint-Philibert, close to La Trinité-sur-Mer in Brittany. Under the motto "Naviguez, on s'occupe de tout", it combines marine engine work, lifting and handling, winter storage and road haulage of boats. The yard is currently doubling the size of its mechanical workshop and adding a further mechanic to shorten turnaround times.
Services
- Inboard marine mechanics: fault diagnosis on mechanical and electronic issues, scheduled maintenance, engine tuning and complete engine refits
- Outboard mechanics: rapid repairs, manufacturer-specification servicing, modern diagnostic equipment
- Sandblasting and refurbishment of small metal and mechanical components
- Boat handling: launching, hauling out and transfers, over 600 movements per year, including crane handling for twin-keel yachts
- Indoor and outdoor winter storage (hivernage)
- Road transport of boats across the Brest–Caen–La Rochelle triangle, with all required permits
- End-of-life boat deconstruction under the APER programme: de-masting, depollution and transport to an approved centre
- Sale of new and used boats, engines and chandlery (online shop in preparation)
- Marine electronics and onboard energy through partner Miles Solutions
Facilities
- Around 8,800 m² of storage in total, with roughly 2,600–2,800 m² of covered hangar space and 6,200–6,300 m² of outdoor yard
- Outdoor area with capacity for more than 150 boats
- Hydraulic trailer for boats up to 22 tonnes, trailers up to 10 tonnes and a 2.5-tonne launching trailer suitable for use in the water
- Three heavy-duty tractor units for manoeuvring in confined spaces
- Water recycling unit and collection tank giving near-autonomy in water use; industrial waste handled by certified specialist companies
