Chantier Catana is the boatbuilding operation of CATANA GROUP, a listed French group focused entirely on the design, construction and sale of catamarans. The group builds sailing catamarans under the CATANA and BALI brands and power catamarans under the YOT brand, producing more than 300 boats a year. It employs over 1,300 people across production sites in Canet-en-Roussillon, Marans near La Rochelle, Tunisia and Portugal, plus an industrial joinery in Rivesaltes and a services base at Port Pin Rolland near Toulon. Its brands are sold worldwide through a dealer network.

Chantier Catana

Chantier Catana is the shipyard arm of CATANA GROUP, a company with nearly 40 years of experience in designing and manufacturing catamarans. The group is entirely focused on the manufacture and sale of multihulls, and has grown strongly since 2014, when the first BALI catamaran (the BALI 4.5) was launched. Today the Catana–BALI shipyard builds over 300 boats per year. CATANA GROUP is listed on Compartment C of Euronext Paris (ISIN FR0010193052, ticker CATG) and employs more than 1,300 people.

Vessel Types

  • CATANA CATAMARANS — light, fast, performance-oriented blue-water sailing catamarans with slender inverted bows and lightweight interior fit-out
  • BALI CATAMARANS — sailing catamarans built around an open concept featuring a pivoting aft door, rigid foredeck platform, forward cockpit and large windows
  • YOT POWER CATAMARANS — twin-hull motor yachts for day use, weekending and leisure cruising
